About the Author – Bradley Saum

     Bradley Saum has developed an appreciation for the natural, cultural and historical gems around the country having served as a park ranger with the National Park Service, South Dakota State Parks and Ohio State Parks.

     A graduate of the University of Dayton, Bradley has diverse work experiences ranging from wildland firefighting to federal law enforcement, to senior level management positions with Fortune 500 companies.

Currently, Bradley is retired and living and traveling the United States fulltime in his RV pursuing his passion of experiencing the extraordinary natural and cultural history around the country, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and enjoying his multitude of hobbies which include writing, photography, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, blogging, disc golf and many more.

Bradley currently volunteers with the Habitat for Humanity RV Care-A-Vanners program and is a volunteer alumnus of the Student Conservation Association and has also served as an outdoor education instructor.

Originally from Ohio, Bradley has lived in many different areas of the country and has traveled the United States extensively. Bradley Saum has also had the opportunity to travel internationally, visiting fifteen countries across the globe. Highlights include seeing a Bengal tiger in India, walking atop the Great Wall of China, and experiencing and interacting with all the various cultures so uniquely different.

     Bradley is a dynamic speaker and enjoys sharing his experiences, hobbies and knowledge with others. Bradley Saum was been interviewed live by Lori Walsh for her radio show In The Moment on South Dakota Public Broadcasting, served as a panelist at the Black Elk Legacy Event hosted by the South Dakota Hall of Fame, and presented a Learning Forum at the Journey Museum and Learning Center.
